The clashes follow an increase in settler violence in the past weeks against Palestinians, the most significant of which is the ongoing situation at Kusra in the northern West Bank. During a search of his vehicle, police found several suspicious items, including an airsoft rifle, a knife, a penknife, and tear gas.
