Israeli Forces and Settlers Injure at Least 19 Palestinians in West Bank Raids

Israeli army and settlers injured at least 19 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank in a single day of raids and attacks, amid a surge in settler violence that has displaced more than 2,300 Palestinians this year. West Bank Attacks on Saturday

Israeli forces shot and injured three Palestinians attempting to enter occupied East Jerusalem near the separation wall in ar-Ram. [1] The Jerusalem Governorate reported the shooting on Saturday as part of efforts to stop workers from reaching jobs inside Israel. [1] In the Tubas Governorate, the Palestine Red Crescent Society treated at least 11 Palestinians, including four children, for tear gas inhalation during army raids. [1] Separate settler assaults led to hospital treatment for two young men beaten in Arrabeh and a 15-year-old boy beaten in Tammun, where another child was also injured. [1] An elderly man identified as Said al-Amour suffered injuries and bruises after armed settlers beat him in the village of Al-Rakiz in Masafer Yatta. [4] Israeli forces then raided his home, damaged its contents and confiscated family phones. Scale of Settler Expansion and Violence

The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission stated that Israeli settlers now number roughly 780,000 across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, living in 192 settlements and 400 outposts. [2] One suspected member was neutralised during the pursuit, while other fleeing members escaped with the body of another neutralised member. [2] A search of the abandoned strongholds led to the recovery of two pump-action guns, two motorcycles, IED-making materials and other items. [2] The Army described the seizure of the explosive-making materials as a significant operational gain that would degrade the group’s capacity to manufacture explosive devices. [2] The troops consolidated their positions and intensified operations in surrounding areas to track fleeing members and prevent regrouping. Yemeni Forces Counter Houthi Threats

Yemeni government forces downed a Houthi drone that approached the Al-Wadiah border area with Saudi Arabia. [3] The same forces destroyed a bomb-laden boat in the Bab al-Mandab Strait. [3] These actions targeted Houthi threats in separate locations along Yemeni territory and waters. [3]

Israeli Position on Hamas and Gaza

Israel will not move forward on the U.S.-backed peace framework for Gaza until Hamas gives up its weapons.
