Ongoing Flood Warnings in Oklahoma and Kansas
Minor flooding is occurring and forecast for Deep Red Creek near Randlett in Cotton County, Oklahoma, until this evening. [2] The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Flash Flood Warning for southwestern Refugio County in south central Texas and northeastern San Patricio County in south central Texas. [2] At 2:41 a.m. CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. [2] Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over already saturated ground. [2] Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. [2] Flash flooding is ongoing or expected shortly in the warned area. [2]
Debris Flows Expected in Montana Burn Scar
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected shortly over the North Remington and McGhee Burn Scar in Rosebud, Montana. [5] At 1:16 a.m. MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the North Remington and McGhee Burn Scar. [5] Between 0.3 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. [5] Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flows. [5] The hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around the North Remington and McGhee Burn Scar. [5] The source is radar indicated. [5] The impact includes flooding of areas in and downstream of the North Remington and McGhee Burn Scar. [5]
