Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued in Southeastern Colorado
A severe thunderstorm was located near Stonington in Baca County, Colorado, at 933 PM MDT, moving southeast at 30 mph. [1] This storm carried hazards of 60 mph wind gusts and nickel-size hail according to radar indications. [1] A separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning covers northeastern Baca County until 1015 PM MDT. [2] At 910 PM MDT a severe thunderstorm was located over Vilas, or 9 miles east of Springfield, moving southeast at 40 mph with the same hazards of 60 mph wind gusts and nickel-size hail.
