The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northern White County in Middle Tennessee and Central Putnam County in Middle Tennessee until 930 PM CDT. The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois including Rock River at Moline affecting Rock Island and Henry IL Counties and Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Henry IL and Whiteside Counties. Drought in Honduras and Windstorm in Nigeria
Honduras is facing a severe drought driven by a prolonged rainfall deficit across the south and west of the country called the Dry Corridor. [3] The national drought response plan reports that more than 75 per cent of the national territory experienced severe rainfall deficits, including more than 50 consecutive dry days and an extended dry season. [3] Residents of Lafiagi in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State have expressed concern over the collapse of part of the pavilion at the nearly completed Lafiagi Stadium following a heavy windstorm.
