Ukraine Conflict Sees 271 Clashes in One Day as Russian Advance Slows Fourfold
The Ukraine conflict recorded 271 combat clashes over the past day according to Ukraine's General Staff.
Daily Combat Clashes Across Front Lines
A total of 271 combat clashes have been recorded on the battlefield over the past day. [2] The Russians carried out over 50 attacks on the Pokrovsk front, 27 attacks on the Sloviansk front and 24 on the Huliaipole front. [2] Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict losses on Russian troops, putting up effective resistance along the entire front line. [2] On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, two combat clashes were recorded over the past day. [2] On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian units 12 times near the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman and Artilne and towards Kudiivka and Khatnie. [2] On the Kupiansk front, Russian troops conducted two attacks towards the settlements of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi and Kivsharivka. [2] On the Lyman front, Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defences 17 times, attacking near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Kopanky, Drobysheve, Yampil, Nadiia and Novoselivka and towards Borova, Lyman, Ozerne and Dibrova. [2] On the Kramatorsk front, Russian soldiers carried out two attacks near the village of Nykyforivka. [2] On the Kostiantynivka front, Russian forces conducted 18 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and Ivanopillia and towards Stepanivka. [2] On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces attacked four times near the village of Kalynivske and towards Verbove. [2] On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske fronts, Russian troops did not carry out any offensive operations. Intense Fighting on Pokrovsk and Adjacent Fronts
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 51 Russian assault actions near the settlements of Ivanivka, Dorozhnie, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Rodynske and Novooleksandrivka and towards Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne and Serhiivka. [2] On the Sloviansk front, the Russians conducted 27 assaults towards the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka and near Riznykivka and Zakitne. Russian Strikes and Activity in Northern Sectors
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, two combat clashes were recorded over the past day, with the Russians conducting 55 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two from multiple-launch rocket systems. [2] On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian units 12 times near the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman and Artilne and towards Kudiivka and Khatnie. Air Defence Actions and Kyiv Attack
